At a 49% Rotten Tomatoes rating, No Strings Attached is Ashton Kutcher’s most acclaimed film to date. While a 49% rating still isn’t saying much, grossing over $70 million domestically on a $25 million budget says people will show up if Kutcher is involved. It also doesn’t hurt that his leading lady was an oft-skimpily clad Natalie Portman.

If you love Kutcher or Portman enough to buy a copy of the film, No Strings Attached will be coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on May 10th. This film is one of those increasingly rare cases where it won’t really matter whether you splurge for the Blu-Ray or buy a regular DVD copy. The Blu-Ray will come with a DVD copy included, so it has that going for it; however, special features in both sets will be exactly the same.

Included with both will be commentary from director Ivan Reitman -- the guy behind Ghostbusters,Dave, and, more recently, the subpar My Super Ex-Girlfriend. There will also be several deleted scenes and some alternate storylines. On top of this, both copies will include three featurettes titled “Sex Friends: Getting Together,” “Inside the Sassy Halls of Secret High,” and “Modern Love: The Do’s and Don’ts.”

Since No Strings Attached follows romantic themes, from casual sex to incredible relationships, Paramount Home Entertainment has partnered with Perfectmatch.com, a dating site, to bring the movie to viewers. The deal is: if you buy a copy, a flyer will be included offering buyers an exclusive membership price. Just make sure you read the fine print; there are always strings attached.
