News and rumors have been flying lately about the upcoming Mission: Impossible 4, which is set to begin filming this December starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames. While the details about Ethan Hunt's newest outing are still sparse, Cruise slipped into a different pair of espionage-slippers this past spring as possibly crazy secret agent Roy Miller in the spy-rom-com Knight and Day. I saw way more of the movie than I ever cared to -- the projector broke down three times during our screening -- but any Cruise/Diaz fans out there who missed it, Knight and Day is coming to Blu-ray and DVD November 30th courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Cruise stars as Miller, a fugitive spy who may or may not have misplaced his marbles. Diaz is a small-town girl named June who meets Roy in an airport and flirts in that carefully scripted way that only ever happens in the movies. What could have just been a memorable diary entry soon turns into a life-changing experience once June finds herself pursued by government agents who try to convince her that Roy is batty. Soon she's hopping around the globe, dodging bullets, and trying to figure out whether Roy is a nut, a liar, or the only one telling the truth. Fox is releasing Knight and Day as a three-disc Blu-ray ($39.99) and a one-disc DVD ($29.98), but there will also be a two-disc limited-time-only holiday gift set ($34.98).
