"Body Bags" by Christopher Golden

There are very few readers out there, who enjoy medical myseteries who have not read Patricia Cornwell. And yet, most of those have never heard of Christopher Golden. Looking at many of his other works, it's not hard to see why. Golden is, unfortunatly for all medical mystery seekers, most famous for his Buffy series. Yes ladies and gents, a Buffy series writer has writen a Medical mystery. A series of medical mysteries in fact.

Body Bags is the first in a series of medical mystery knowledge starring Jenna Blake, a freshman college student. College I hear you say? Jenna is a college student, just like the rest of us. She is torn about her future. Desperatly wanting to go into medicine, and yet sickened by the site of blood. The perfect soloution seems to be as an aide- for the medical examiner. From the beginning the job is not- well usual (DUH- like that job would ever be usual), the interview takes place during an autopsy and it just get crazier from there.

I don't know what it is about Golden, but he takes words and can twist them in a thousand ways. I was addicted by this book from the first word, and all the following books, like reading was going out of style. I don't think I slept. If you like Patricia Cornwell, you will LOVE Golden. His writing skills surpase her a thousand fold.

Whenever I read books about college students, I always find myself hating the student.
