Wonder if they'll finally release a "Sims: Bump 'n Grind" add-on pack.

God knows they've released an add-on for everything else.

Sure as hell isn't MY thing at all, but my better half might get some kind of enjoyment from those pics.:\

I bought it for my wife because she thought she wanted it. And then like every other game she has ever asked me to buy her, she played it once and never touched it again.

But, I tried it, and it is actually quite fun. You almost TRAIN your Sims to act the way you want and become the people you want.

It's pretty cool really.

Those screenshots are underwhelming though, I mean the graphics don't look any different at all.

One thing that always annoyed me about the Sims was that dumbass language they speak in..it's SO fucking annoying.

Er... its actually pretty useful to tell you what they're thinking without being able to understand the words.

Sims language is actually a pretty damn inventive thing they came up with. Impressive.

I never had much interest in the original Sims, but Sims 2 has me intrigued. Your sims are actually born, grow up, can have kids of their own, and die. They're also supposed to act much more realistically, and they will remember past events.

So if you wall up your sim into a windowless room he might be traumatized, develop clostrophobia, and need therapy.

Hey, who told you they could copy me!?!?

That sounds pretty good Hayzen. I'm intrigued.

I don't know if I'd get it. The first one is a very addictive and time consuming thing, but once I got to a certain point, I burnt out on it, which is a shame because I never really got to the monetary point where I could buy a decent house...

But my SIMS had all developed relationships with each other and people around them and progressed in their careers... my two girls were deeply in love and had interesting relationships with my other SIM... etc. pretty cool and complex, but it just reaches a certain point where you lose interest... and for me that point was long before I'd explored everything the game had to offer.

I'm definately buying this when it comes out, for my gf. It's the only game she really likes to play by herself. I barely played the first but it was fun.

Only played The Sims once, and got really bored after the first 20 minutes.

I'm not a big Sims fan either. A lot of my friends like it... but they're all idiots.

There's just something appealing about controlling the lives of others.

I think I'll have to try it. I played sims for a while..the only thing i hated was to move up in the working world you had to have a certain amount of good friends. It was hard work getting 15+ people to like you all the time. I would make huge cults of people to just be friends of my sim. Theyd live in a giant house with nothing but one bathroom and a few beds (about 1 bed per 3 sims). They were miserable.

After a while I started getting bored and started getting evil. I turned one lady into a money hungry killer. I would have men fall in love with her, marry her and then put the guy in a room and take away the door. I gotta say, those sims live for a long time without food or water. Meanwhile, my lady sim would be bringing over her new guy while her husband cried nonstop in his cage.

Its like Sim city..after you get bored with it, the fun is destroying the city. In Sims you get creative in ways to kill the people. I had one friend make a island in the middle of the pool, get his sim there, take away the stairs to the pool and put a bbq. The guy (with no cooking skill) would eventually start a fire and burn in the middle of the swimming pool.

Though I found I can't tell my husband of my sim lives, or he starts getting a bit scared.

It wasn't exactly on purpose at first. I just didn't have enough beds so they had to sleep in the same bed together. But then I started having them get closer and closer... turned to romance. Who could have anticipated! Actually I didn't even know the game would LET you do that till it did. Which is cool. Nice to know the SIMS creators are open minded. LOL.

The sad thing is that I had 3 SIMS living in my house, two girls and one guy I named Han Solo. Well after the two girls fell in love with each other, poor Han looked so pathetic. They just totally ignored him. He'd be outside sittin and playing his guitar that he's worked so hard to learn all by himself. Just go to work, come home, watch TV, go to bed. Poor Han had a very sad and lonely life. I should have bought him a Wookie or somethin.

That's a brilliant idea man... putting a bunch of people in a house for no reason but to be friends with your real characters.

That's one of the reason I got kinda bored and quit playing, it was too damn hard to move up in the world, too hard to make and maintain enough freinds.

I'm getting kinda motivated to start playing again.
