Women with bigger boobs tend to get more attention, and in Hollywood the more attention you can garner, the better.

Me, I have plenty to spare. All they have to do is ask! :)

I get absolutely no attention from mine. If someone in Hollywood wants my boobs, they can have them! Tara Reid looked good before. Now she looks like some kind of skanky porn star.

I find it funny that in all the "before" pictures she isn't wearing a bra and the "after" she is wearing a bra.

And who cares if she got implants anyway. It's her choice. If it makes her feel better who are we to judge.

I've no real respect for women who get implants purely for cosmetic reasons.

Luthien's Reasoning: The whole idea behind implants is to draw attention to oneself. Society is driven by outward appearances, and celebrities who get boob jobs and face lifts, etc. are only adding fuel to the fire. Growing up as a teenage girl in today's world is hard without the added pressure to look just like the celebrities in the movies and on TV. When a celebrity gets work done, they are showing that what is on the inside is not as importent as what is on the outside.

Now, that is just my opinion, but I think it sums it up nicely.

why do women hate women who get implants?

For me personally I can say a few things.....

One...I feel like the main reason they do it is for men. Be it for their own personal relationships or professional relationships...the men in their lives are the reason they feel like they need bigger, firmer, perkier breasts. Most men don't care that they're fake and hard and freakish. Most men like them big, big, big....instead of real, pretty, soft, and small/average.

Why should any woman have her body cut open and filled with foriegn objects just to fill men's fantasies? We're not ****ing comic book characters. Our breasts are meant to nurse babies above all else...not be toys for men. What if the roles were reversed and the only way men could get ahead in showbiz or their chosen profession would be if the women of the world expected them to get eight inch metal rods surgically implanted into their dicks and wear skin tight pants so we could approve the package before we approved of the man?

The other thing about it is it seems like they have no self-esteem. Why else would they do that to themselves? I have no respect for any woman who mutilates her body for any reason....but especially if it's to fufill some male fantasy of a Barbie doll/porn star/stripper/whatever.

So...that's my problem with the implants. Please note I used the word "most" before the word men. It's not all men.

Not in the least. What is the deal with guys who like the three breasted alien? Gross.

I don't get certain guys obsession with the gigantic either.

I don't think most men are necessarily obsessed with that, or even necessarily prefer that. Sometimes it is hard not to stare at the outlandishly large ones, but staring doesn't necessarily mean that is the preferred variety.

Its just hard not to stare at certain things. Come on, even women stare sometimes... you can't help it.

I'll admit that I do! It's akin to going to the circus and seeing the sideshows, or looking for carnage when you pass by a wreck. Ya gotta stare at the odd shite!

For me it's a comfort thing. I'm already pretty built, moreso than average, and the back pain and horror of clothes shopping is bad enough for me. I don't know why some would want huge breasts and WANT to deal with back pain. Plus, there are so many reports of the implants bursting and leaking, why would anyone want to put something foreign into their bodies that might cause irrepairable damage?

I prefer the real deal- no matter how they look, be it boobs, face, nose, butt, etc, etc. If I see a girl, I want the GIRL, not the body.

And if there was some non-essential plastic surgery done on the girl, that's a total turnoff to me. I mean, if it was to clean up 3rd degree burns, that's fine by me, but otherwise, the more plastic, the less I like it. If I wanted something that made up with plastic, I'd hump my credit card.

i'm indifferent to breast implants and the women who get them. it's their perogative. but i wouldn't get them myself. primarily because of the health risks involved and because big boobs are a pain in the neck/back/shoulders.

I like the old Tara better. Don't get me wrong, the doctor did a nice job...they are well crafted melons. However, she was cuter with her natural look...I guess she wants to be more like Bunny Lebowski..."which one's Logjammin?"

I've never liked her and it had nothing to do with her looks. She always acted like a b*tch in interviews.

I've never seen an interview with her, and that's kind of disappointing. She's no extreme talent, but I've always gotten a kick out of her roles, especially in Big L. I always pictured her being really sweet and gracious in interviews. Oh well.

I've never liked her that much either. No justification for it. And the new ta-ta's don't help or hinder my perception of her as annoying.

BotD - Nice username! A most excellent movie.

Ok so what about the gals who are an A cup and get C's put in?

I look at it this way, they aren't hurting me, and it makes them happy, so why not?

All the venom (especially from other women) towards women with implants (assuming Tara DOES have them-I still think it might be the mighty wonder-bra at work) or Brittany's implants, so what?

Men rule the world because we admire those who go out and set themselves out from the crowd. When women do anything that makes them different/better (not that bigger boobs are better but the principle is the same) thier worst critics are other women.

Ron Jeremy is worshiped as a god, but female porn stars are 'sluts'. I've just never got that.

Have you guys heard what she said about them?

(paraphrasing because I don't have the quote in front of me) "I got them for a movie role. Once that's over, I'll have them removed."

I agree - it's her body her decision. Hell, I've toyed with the idea - women with bigger boobs get more attention. In the end I have much better things to spend my money on.

The whole stud/slut thing is just a typical double standard.

I'm a woman who would never consider implants. Mainly because I am a DD already and find it difficult to ever find a bra- especially on sale. As for women who GET implants..... I think of them the same way as I think of any plastic surgery. If you get it because you need it- then good on ya. If you get it just because you have the money to blow.... why don't you give the money to charity or something. Women who have had masectomys (breast removed due to cancer) often get implants. I'm OK with that. A woman who gets a face lift or nose job because she had a birth defect or an accident, that's A-OK. But having yourself made up like Barbie just cause you can.....
God made us the way he did for a reason. Deal with it.

*le sigh* Right. That's like the guy who buys a Ferrari to win over the girl and then sells it wif she dumps him. Hmmm.

I'm all for women feeling free enough to alter their image if they so desire, but if that feeling stems from a need to draw more attention to themselves, I feel saddened that they aren't being given the attention they deserve for who they are.

I've never seen any of the women who post here, but I'd invite any of them out for coffee any time. All of them seem like they'd be a great conversation.
