Nobody seems to care that much about the Shaq trading though

ESPN's John Clayton just gave a report about Brock Lesnar. It was assumed that Lesnar would be cut by the Vikings after the first few practices.

But in the immortal words of Lee Corso, NOT SO FAST, MY FRIEND!

Lesnar in a scrimmage with the Chiefs, knocked one player of the Chiefs out of the scrimmage with an elbow injury, got in 3 fights, and showed some promise.

Now it looks like he has a possible chance to make the practice squad! Considering his lack of football experience, this is pretty impressive.

For those who don't follow the NFL, the practice squad players can practice with the team all year long but are not eligible to play unless the team signs them to a full squad contract.

Problem for Lesnar is that if he just wants to get into fights, he'll be gone ASAP. He needs to cut that out, fast. Only question is, what's Lesnar's ego like- would he accept being a practice squad guy?

And I'm getting tired of these ESPN dorks telling everyone that wrestling guys are somehow not as athletic. Right, and Kurt Angle didn't win a Gold Medal at the Olympics? And Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wasn't a star player for the Miami Hurricanes? It's clear these ESPN guys have no clue about wrestling, and think it's for yuks and laughs. Pisses me off to no end.

Not surprised. He should be back in time for the Royal Rumble.
