So far the Olympics have been pretty good...Phelps is as advertised so far, which means he's dominant. Just trying to get my bearings on some of the stuff. looking forwards to more of the swimming, track and field, and Basketball stuff.

I've been watching. I'm so ashamed of our professional basketball players now. For declining to go, not playing if they're there, and not caring that they're embarassing their entire country.
The coverage makes me want to shoot the TV, though.

I'm watching. I'm not a baseball fan, so these'll keep me sportified nearly until NCAA and Pro football start.
My girlfriend was also a competitive swimmer for awhile, so she's all about the swimming competition.
I'll also watch mens and womens gymnastics, boxing, and some of the track and diving.
Phelps was the victim of a crappy coaching move and an overall lackluster performance in the men's relay, can't break Spitz's record. Although he has been damn impressive. His race against the Australian guy should be great.
Men's Eight rowing team had a great race against Canada yesterday, took the lead in the final 50 meters to advance to the finals.
I had watched the mens B-Ball team in a couple of exhibition games, this didn't suprise at all. Unless we can get all of the top tier NBA'ers to play I would say we should go back to an amateur national team. These guys don't stand a chance against teams that have played together extensively. And the ability to shoot wouldn't be bad either. :no

My other half also used to swim competativly, so he's big on the swimming too. He's a big Spitz fan, and our biggest argument comes from the fact that I am Australian and always (still) route for the Australian teams..... and I like Thorpe. Jon HATES Thorpe lol so the bug race between Thorpe and Phelps should be intresting.
I've watched about 20 minutes so far. I prefer the Winter Olympics.

I always find time to watch the opening events. That living greek history parade thing was really creepy but interesting to watch. Was that how ET was born? :lol Does anybody have any clue what I'm talking about?
I also love watching the various volley balls and gymnastics. It's amazing what a human body can do when it's in shape.

Just watched the Roddick/Haas Tennis match on Bravo. Roddick won, 4-6, 6-2, 9-7 in three sets. Really good match!
