The mission is scheduled for takeoff on October 2. The final decision on the entertainer’s participation will be made in the near future. Bass is due to start training within a week, and should be able to cover enough ground. A spokesman for the Cosmonaut training center in Kazakhstan says, “All he needs to know, is how to put his suit on, and what not to touch. We could even train a monkey to do this, in less time than that.”
