Their claim is that Jude Law will be Superman/Clark Kent and Collin Farrell will done the mantel of the Bat.

While their claims might seem premature, Entertainment Weekly seems to back them up. This week they published a "short list" of who is up for the Batman vs Superman hero roles. Listed were Johnny Depp, Collin Farrell, James Franco, Jude Law, and Paul Walker.

Personally, I find it a bit odd for a skinny brit like Law to be cast in the role of an icon of Americana... but Law IS a brilliant actor. Though he isn't exactly bulked up, Superman was never really a muscle-bound hero to begin with. It is only in recent years that he's been drawn that way. After all, why would he need muscles? He's Superman. Law is an odd choice, but not necessarily a bad one. Farrell on the other hand could be quite brilliant. Especially considering his experience playing "Bullseye" in the upcoming Daredevil movie.

At the very least, the people behind the Superman vs Batman push seem to have their heads screwed on straight, choosing talented, and only mildly known actors is certainly the right move to make.
