I'm all about Remember the Titans.

Big fan of Major League 2 and a League of their Own, too. Liked what I saw of Miracle, but have yet to see the whole movie. Oh, and I can't forget Field of Dreams and Bull Durham.

My favorites though, of course, are Baseketball and Space jam.

OK, I'm seein' lotsa Happy Gilmore on here, but I must protest.

Is golf really a sport...or is it a game? Are people who play golf really athletes?

Its considered a sport Deus, so technically, they are athletes.

That's not to say I don't like Happy Gilmore. And since it does feature some hockey and bare-fisted boxing between Happy and Bob Barker, I suppose it can slide as a sports movie.

i can't watch the start of an nfl game without singing the word "football" in soprano, a la goldie hawn in the closing credits of wildcats.

it's utterly pavlovian to me.
