The other night I was watching Tech Live on TechTV and at the end of the show they mentioned there is a BattleTech movie in the works. I think they said it was either being produced or directed by the guy that did Eight Legged Freaks.

Anybody know anything about this? I've been waiting YEARS for a BattleTech movie.

I've been waiting for this too Hayzen! There is always people talking about it, but it never comes to anything!

I'll make it a point to see if I can find anything real on it. That would be great! Dream come true!

I heard this week that Dean Devlin, producer of Independence Day, is looking to helm a Mech Warrior movie, but I am not sure if those things are related.

Son of a bitch. I had the story posted in here, it farking disapeared...Now my source wants me to pay to ready it again...Yes, Devlin wants to produce MW, they're currently in negotiations to get the rights from the game manufacturer.
