Read all of the Necroscope books and loved em'! There are quite a few of them also....the Necroscope series (I believe there were 4), The Lost Years, Bloodwars, and then a final series of 3. The books gives the vampire genre a whole different spin.

Lumley ranks right up there with King in the horror department. Give the series a chance, I don't think you will be dissapointed. I have reread the whole series a couple of times and they are still one of my favorites!

Hi all, new to the site. My name is Kelly, and I am a huge fan of the Necroscope series. Was looking up information on the Necroscope movie...guess its' still in the works.

About the books. There are actually 13 books in the series. I have all but 4 of them. Brian Lumley has other publications out there besides the necroscope series, of which some of them I have also read. Right now, he is my favorite author. He captures the imagination like none I've read before.

If you haven't read the Necroscope series, I highly reccommend it! If you would like more information on Brian Lumley and his works, he does have a site. just look up his name, I'm sure you'll get a link to it.:bwoot

Welcome, SinginMomma!

Lumley is an author I see when I go to the bookstore; I'm always in search of horror books that aren't soft-core vampire porn.

Lumley is definately not what I would call soft core...there are sexual interludes, but he's definately a spine-tingling writer. He mixes the horror in with a bit of Sci Fi. Definately would reccommend his books to anyone looking for an intense read.

Ty for the welcome, too.
