Anne Rice books turned into Musical

Elton John and Bernie Topin are working on writing a musical version of "The Vampire Lestat" for Broadway. They plan to turn all the Interview With a Vampire books into musicals.

Worst idea ever.

There will be no electronic or "rock" music. It will be all orchestral and extremely lame.

Broadway hasn't come out with the best ideas. I heard the other day they are thinking of turning Eminem's "8 Mile" into a musical as well.
