RESIDENT EVIL 2

Premise: It will pick up where the last film left off, with Jovovich reprising her role as Alice, who is left to search for ways to contain a deadly viral outbreak while trying to escape the ruined Raccoon City with fellow survivors including Jill Valentine & Sergeant Peyton Wells. The character of Addison, who was himself infected with the virus that causes humans to develop into zombies, becomes the villain of the sequel.

Directed by:Alexander Witt

Written by: Paul S. Anderson

Starring: Milla Jovovich (Alice), Eric Mabius (Matt Addison)

Release Date: Probable Summer/Fall 2004

For those worried about Witt's directing credetials he was second unit director on Daredevil, XXX, Black Hawk Down and Hannibal.

Well, apart from Black Hawk Down, none of those made me excited he's directing. :D

Was just incase people thought he was some inexperienced wannabe director with only a Britney pop video under his belt :lol

Has anyone else read Romero's original Script? It was Zombie Killing Genuis AND it was more or less faithful to the game.

Have not read Romero's script but I still wanna see this sequel. First one was ok but not great though.

I really liked the first one. Nothing to be taken seriously, but just crazy, silly, zombie fun. I'd be happy to see another.

There was hardly any Zombies In it!!! They just spent the whole time ****ing around with a super computer!

Yes there were alot of Zombies, but every second that they spent messing around with the computer and the inane Alice in Wonderland shit (which you have to admit was way to much for a "zombie" movie) I resented it.

I be interested. Was scouting for decent pics when I was putting up my preview the other night... and besides some sub-par set pics there hasn't been much.

I thought the first one was so-so, but I'll probably still see this one in the theater, just because I like zombie flicks, and I like Resident Evil. And there really weren't THAT many zombies in the first one..that I remember at least. And that did decrease my enjoyment of the film.
