Movie with James Blunt Song

Hey peeps, I once saw a trailer to a movie that had the James Blunt song "You're beautiful" but I forgot the name of the movie. Can anyone help me out? I saw the trailer around 2006/2007...

The plot of the movie (as I understood from the trailer) an aspiring singer briefly met a girl on the subway and then she disappeared, they met again later in the trailer when he traveled to the westcoast (I think) in order to search for his singing career.

Please help, I want to watch this movie but can't remember the name :rolling2
