Its fixed I tell you!
But then Led Zeppelin is one of my choices for top 3, any band put up against them is going to fall. Ironic that RUSH's early influence was Led Zeppelin, but so was a lot of bands.

This is a wasted effort but since they are my nominee I'll lay it down.
AS far as musicianship, no one touches RUSH.
They are the ultimate power trio.
If you like RUSH at all you need to see them in concert. They have been putting out albums and touring to support them almost every year since 1974.
Thats 18 studio albums and 2 live albums.

Jimmy Page was incredible but he is no Alex Lifeson, Alex lays down guitar licks that always enhance the song, he is capable of some screaming licks and has incredible finesse. He makes his guitar scream and cry.

Neil Peart is unquestionably one of the top 5 rock drummers of all time, known in drumming circles as 'the professor', and he will school you. Show me another drummer who can lay down a 20 min drum solo that will wow you the entire time.

Geddy Lee plays a kickin bass, keyboard, footpedals, and has an awesome rock and roll voice and scream.

Lyrically their songs are always thought provoking, tho one song on their first album did have the words 'hey baby' in it. They have never sold out to the suits in making their music, in fact when they started becoming popular mainstream they made fun of the music industry in their songs.
Awesome band, you guys are missing out.

Thats what RUSH is doing IN here, biotch!

Thats all for today's lesson, your assignment for this evening is to listen to RUSH Power Windows.

Led Zep's live album of How the West Was Won. It has a 20 minute version of Moby Dick. That is all.

Now compare to The Rhythm Method on RUSH - Different Stages.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think Peart is far more better than Bonham. I was just saying that Bonham was just as capable of doing a long ass solo.

and I like Bonham as well, he added a huge amount of power to Zep's songs. One of my favorite Zep songs, Kashmir, even with all of its orchestration, its his powerful drum track that carries the song and pulls it all together.
