Ok, for me, the Beatles.... VERY overrated.

I rated The Clash over Sabbath, but I'd still rate the Beatles over The Clash. The synergy of Lennon-McCartney is one of the greatest, ever.

I can't think of anyone offhand who would fit between 2 and 3.

Eh, I tend to go for metal, so my opinion would be that Sabbath are much better than The Beatles. I really never did listen to The Beatles much at all, and from what I have heard of them, wasn't the best music either.:blat Maybe another listen is in store?

Also,In my opinion just because Ozzy was "glad" to see Paul Mcartney in the green room doesn't really prove anything.And back to the topic of who's greater...I'd vote Sabbath in my opinion.With songfs like "Ironman" "warpigs" "Children of the grave" etc..Black Sabbath just drives a bullet into what the Beatles did.Look at it this way,The beatles were the heaven;y and Sabbath were the metal,period.

Welcome OzzyKingOfMetal.....this thread was a part of a tournament of polls as to who would be considered the Best Rock Band.....problem is...the tournament is 8 months old, so given the circumstances it's not fact just a matter of a polled opinion. :D
