Sure, there's three guys, two are white, and only one is Jimi Hendrix. But, you can't tell me those guys didn't lay down A LOT of amazing music together.
Electric Ladyland, Axis: Bold as Love, Are you Experienced, Cry of Love, etc.
Jimi was the main force behind The Experience, but give the other guys a little credit.

I own every Soundgarden Cd and have a few Hendrix songs on Compilation discs. I'm just going my my preference. Henrix is a classic....I just like Soundgarden more, because that was my generation.

Same here, Bordick. Soundgarden was a lot more of an infulence for me growing up than Hendrix.

I'm not going to waste any of my anger over this but it's pretty ridiculous, Hendrix was the embodiment of rock music.

I think the whole basis of this poll Tick is that more people in this forum were more familiar with Soundgarden than Jimi Hendrix, which is why the vote went where it did, probably much like the BNL winning over Aerosmith. I'm sure everyone here will agree that Hendrix is a god, it's just because they like SGs music more. It's their opinion. They're wrong, but it's still their opinion :D
