Dementia 13: Never Seen
Finians Rainbow: The strangest ****ing Film I've ever seen, and I've seen Tesuo the Iron Man. A Fred Astaire film about Lepracons?
C
The Rain People: Never Seen
The Godfather: One of the Finest American films ever made despite what Hobbit Says.
A
The Conversation: A great film about Voyerism and perception. Surpassed only by DePalma's Blowout. That final Shot is Haunting.
A
The Godfather II: My second favorite movie chocked full of so many highlights that just a highlight reel would probably run half an hour. The Kiss of Death, the Stalking of Fulicci, Kays Confession, The final shot, the cross cutting execution. So good that it reduces the Godfather to just expositiom.
A
Apocalypse Now: An amazing film and arguably his last great one.
A
One From the Heart: Total Fayage.
C+
The Outsiders: Good adapation though it reduced the story of the gang to the story of Johnny and Pony Boy.
B
Rumble Fish: Over indulgent sloppy adaption of a book that wasn't that great to begin with.
D
The Cotton Club: Never seen.
Captain Eo: Never seen.
Peggy Sue Got Married: Fun Back to the Future Ripoff. Good Nic Cage craziness and Prime Kathleen Turner Hotness.
B-
Gardens of Stone: Never Seen
Tucker a Man and His Dream: Underated, but still not great.
B
New York Story: Definitely the weakest short in this collection.
C
Godfather III: Not the sheer perfection of the other two, but plenty of great scenes. The confession, the Helicopter attack, the Parade assination, and the Opera house seen which for my money is better then the Baptism for cross cutting vengance and remorse.
A-
Dracula: Despite Cary Ewles and Gary Oldman, my disdain for this film is well known.
F
Jack: You're shitting me right.
F
The Rainmaker: Thoroughly Average.
