Personally I still go with Madonna coating Willem Dafoe with burning Candle Wax in Body of Evidence.
But a runner up would be the bad guy jacking off to two S&M freaks pouring candle wax on eachother in the Crow: City of Angels.
Alot of Candle Wax.
John Leguizamo with himself in Spun... where he's uh doing things to uh things in a sock and jumping up and down on the bed like a jackrabbit.
Most disturbing sex scene ever.

See I find the scenes fro Deliverance and Blue Velvet to be much more disturbing.
You could argue these scenes are less about sex and more about violence, but the fact is there are those who find these scenes sexually arousing.
Many folks would find the entire move 'The Secretary' much more disturbing.
Kill Bill has a pretty freakish bit early on towards the end of the Bride's stay at the hospital.
If we allow animae the Nazi-Rape-Death machine in Legend of the Overfiend Volume II was out there as well.

Leguizamo's scene is much more disturbing than anything in The Secretary. But I agree that that certainly beats out a little bit of hot wax.

Well true, but it never actually HAPPENED, at least not on screen. She stopped them before they did it the one time we saw it (even though it had probably been done many times in the past). Plus, I think we should leave RAPE scenes out of this discussion, which is what that is.

Blue Velvet Definitely. Not so much the stuff with Frank but the scene where she coaxes Jeffery into hitting her. Not only is that scene incredably disturbing but the next scene, when its just Jeffery sitting alone in his room with the guilt eating him alive which is equally harrowing.
As for the Secratary its done in too much of a sarcastic (for lack of a better word) tone for me to be "disturbed" by it.

Pretty much the entire movie, "Killing me softly" (joseph fiennes - and yes, that's why I rented it). Lot's of weirdo bondage with Heather Graham. But in a freaky sort of tie-me-to-the-kitchen-table way.

Ans an aside, isn't it interesting that Terentino can make the list with just a suggestion of a scene rather than graphically showing it?

I agree with Valkary. That end scene of Connelly and that giant black dildo was extremely disturbing to me.
I guess rapes wouldn't really be considered sex scenes would they? Rape isn't sex, really. But anytime someone is raped on screen it makes me feel sick and disgusted.
Anything involving children being molested or seduced...bad. Can't take it.
As far as Secretary goes...I actually found it to be quite erotic and enticing. I wanted those two to just go at it like bunnies! I LOVED it when they finally did! What a cool, original love story...and yes it was love. Twisted, fetish love....yum! :bluntchop

I also thought the scene in Quills where jaquine phoenix has sex with kate winslet's corpse was pretty messed up.
Ofcourse rape is sex. It's just not love.

Is irreversible the movie with actors actually having sex in it? The only "legit" movie to do that?
Not likely. I doubt any union will allow actresses to be actually raped on the set.

No, because they are an entirely different category. They are a different thing... more on par with murder scenes than sex scenes if you ask me. Plus, it just ain't fun to talk about things like that, nor should it be.

Anyway, in that case I vote for the scene in Hable Con Ella where Benigno makes the girl with the name I can't remember pregnant. It's more of a symbolic representation than an actually sex scene, but it's sure strange.

Been quite a few foreign films like that. Most of them causing big hoo-ha with the UK censors.
Romance, Intimacy and Baise-Moi are three of the most recent ones to have actual real sex scenes in them.
