Everything needs a sequel nowadays, it's like the 80's all over again. Just without the stupid fashion, cheeseball music, and MTV effecting our pop culture........oh wait....CRAP!!!!

It's not so much that everything seems to need a sequel...

It's that sequels are being announced before money's even been spent filming the original let alone earning a profit at the box office.

It's arrogant filmmaking to assume your movie will be worthy of a sequel before the ticket sales come in.

Sadly in this day and age everyone's so eager to go and watch any old shite that invariably it makes enough dough to make it look like it deserves a sequel anyway.

I agree, I was just trying to be ironic. I'm sure in the 80's during the sequel boom people said the same thing, but back then sequels were ok though. I don't know, I give up.
