Did you ever buy Suspiria, and if so what did you think? I'm curious...

Ah, yes I did. It's an interesting film certainly, but very flawed as well, at least to me. I enjoyed it though.

The sets are GREAT, was the entire design of the house adapted from Escher drawings or just certain parts? It's a treat though.

What I didn't like at all is that it was recorded silent, then dubbed in english. It just doesn't look natural, just film it in italian and subtitle it dammit! That's a real shame, I despise dubbing.

Also, some of the 'horror' effects looked particulary fake. Especially the one where this dog kills the blind guy and the part at the end where the grand witch is semi-invincible.

The atmosphere of the movie was pretty good again, quite creepy. All in all, I think they were very creative with a really limited budget. Fun film, could have been better.
