The 1979 hit movie told the story of a family terrorised by a seemingly haunted house and spawned seven sequels/spin-offs. Yes, but only one of them was actually any good. Over half of them were direct to video or made for tv.

Bay has his place in the world... cheesy popcorn summer movies, but hey, somebody's gotta make 'em. :)
