It's the Christmas season, the time of miracles. Thus, it's only fitting that the news finally came down that Farscape, the sci-fi great caper with muppets, is returning to television for a proper send off. Farscape was cancelled after its fourth season, well after plans for the fifth season were set into motion. Because of the late notice cancellation, the series finale was more than a bit inconclusive, leaving fans clamoring more a bit more closure. (Now imagine Chris Carter getting the chance to not run his franchise into the ground.)
The miniseries that will cap off the series will shoot in Sydney, Australia next year, with a script written by David Kemper and Rockne O'Bannon (who no one screwed with in grade school). The two are also the creators of the series and very happy to conclude it properly. All of the important cast members are also returning, with the highlights (leads) being Ben Browder and Claudia Black leading the charge.
