I'm hitting the 650 mark soon. I got them in three ikea shelves and still lots of space for more discs :)
I know a dude from another site and he claims to own over 1200 DVDs (!)

What people seem to forget is that they think they must be loaded to have so much.......................it's not like us collector's go crazy and leave Best Buy with half the inventory at a time....$20 adds up.....It's like smoking.....We spend our money 1 at a time....that's what adds up.....we don't all go out and buy as many carton's as humanly possible at once.
