Oh, no! I can't claim to be much of a John Woo fan, not having seen any of his work before Hard-Boiled and The Killer (mmm...Chow Yun-Fat) were repackaged for US release, but I thoroughly enjoyed both of those as well as Broken Arrow and Face/Off. I will even go to see Paycheck just because it's his.

Face/Off is a fine movie, but Road Warrior is one of those few movies I can stand to watch repeatedly, even when it's been edited to shreds for television!

Me too I'm a HUGE John Woo Fan, I own all his Hong Kong movies and I think that when film fans look back and see how his unique style wasn't able to survive the move to America, they're going to see it as a tradegy, and really that's why I like Face-Off So much, its his one American Film that even touches his HK ones.

But The Road Warrior, (And the Whole Damn Trilogy) is one of my Top Five Films of all time. It just can't be beat.
