-One prediction I can make is that no one is going to give a tiny rat's ass when about HHH when Kane and Goldberg are going at it. If this match was a movie, HHH would be third-billed.
-Batista will beat Michaels. He hasn't won a PPV since WrestleMania, I don't see why this event should be any different.
-Randy Orton will probably defeat RVD. Once Orton is champion, we can pave the way for the end of Evolution.
-Booker T vs. Mark Henry...eh...I'll go with Booker T, but I'm not really sure.

I may go in to pick up a certain special somebody, who shall remain nameless, but I may end up not seeing you until the 27th. If I come in before then, I'll tell you.
i haven't watched for about 6 months if not more. Did they change one of the La Resistance guys. One looks different..

I thought Kane was supposed to be an unstoppable monster -- him getting beat down by Goldberg seems kinda weird. That guy is just way overhyped. Besides, you can pretty much tell whether Kan will win or lose, depending on whether they blow the ringpost fireworks at the start, or save it for the end...
This battle of the sexes stuff is complete inane -- that whole story line was pretty retarded. The basic idea wasn't neccessarily bad, but the "resolution" with the girls just beating them with flowers -- wtf. I expected them to pretend all was well, lure them somewhere with the promise of sex, and leave them naked, chained to something, in a public spot -- you know, really get their revenge. Instead, they just walked down, took the flowers and beat them with it -- and then that wazzup thing with the Dudley boys, duh.
How come the athletes on that show generally are in such amazing physical shape, and the writers are mental midgets? Or do the writers just target the material for an audience that they consider idiots?

Either the main event is the lead-in to Kane vs. Goldberg for the title, which would most likely leave Kane as the victor to be challenged by the Undtertaker at WrestleMania, and Goldberg be left to finally feud with Brock Lesnar...OR...Goldbegr wins this, and a one on one with Kane at the Royal Rumble, leaving Kane to go up against the Undertaker without the title and Goldberg to go up against...um...Brock Lesnar? I don't know, it's all wishful thinking in my head. But if Brock/Goldberg is going to happen, it better happen at WrestleMania. Armageddon is just a throwaway event. It's the last event before the road to WreslteMania begins, so I wouldn't read much into it.

They're pushing for Kane to truly rise up to the top tier level. This is the usual time for them to push someone, and Kane it is.

Dude, the storyline isn't over. That's your problem with it. Lita and Trish went out of their way to embarass Jericho and Christian, on tv. It's not in their character to pull off a "kidnap them and torture them" thing- Austin would do that. So would Kane. But not them. The match itself looks to either be going two ways: Jericho really doesn't want to fight the girls, and REALLY DOES mean it when he says he was touched by her (hint: he'd be going face), or it's a total swerve and Jericho stays a heel. But if he goes face, he'll most likely end up feuding with Christian. They teased that feud a bit ago.

They had a 3rd member, a french syypmathizer Rob Conway. Sylvan Grenier, the other guy I think got injured.

He did both :blat
The 2 additions were meh, Maven vs. Matt Hardy & Molly Holly vs. Ivory......They were the "Piss Breaks" of the PPV. Although, I was suprised to see Evolution pull a Hart Foundation.

Two wrong, two right, the rest I didn't care about. Will be interesting to see Evolution carry all the gold. Very surprised.

They're the first faction to do that since The Hart Foundation in '97, it took an infamous screw job & a broken necked Rattlesnake to break that up!

So much for Evolution breaking up. I thought HHH was going to take some serious time off or something. This should be very interesting.

I've watched just about every RAW their has been (save for a few here and there) since the show aired on USA in January '93....This past Raw was the one one to be puzzled. Strange.

I know they gotta put some twists in the story, but that one was a big bad tease. He said the legendary Foley pain threashold was history -- so what, he has to satisfy his desire to hurt himself by getting humiliated and having people spit in his face now? Duh.
ok folks...if you are gonna talk about the PPV and RAW,
HOW ABOUT A FREAKIN RUNDOWN!! :lol
Who won the matches at the PPV?
What was so weird about Raw?

I just can't describe the weirdness, I'm sorry.

Ok Matt, here's the scoop on the weirdness on RAW. Bischoff comes to the ring and makes a proposal to Mick. He wants Mick to fight Randy Orton and if Randy Orton loses, Eric Bischoff would resign as GM, but if Mick loses, Mick would leave. Mick said he would accept if there was no outside interference from Evolution and Bischoff and the Intercontinental Title was on the line. Got it? Okay
So, it 5 to 11, and the match is about to start. Randy Orton comes out all arrogant and stuff. Then Mick comes out with his flannel shirt. He then circles the outside of the ring, looking like he's trying to hype himself up, but then he slowly goes up the ramp and goes backstage and into his "room". He gets his stuff and starts to leave, and even though Orton calls him a coward and spits in his face, Foley just keeps on walking out. End show.
definitely, the weirdest ending I had ever witnessed, and we have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens since they're having the best of show next week

also, usually RAW ends at or around 11:10.......it ended at 11:00 for the first time in a good 6 years.

The last time I remember being that confused was when the last twenty minutes of Smackdown was Brock Lesnar torturing a wheelchair-bound Zach Gowen.

That's one of those ones I missed from August to September.

Here's what happened: Mr. McMahon is in the ring, blabbing about something, and you cut to Brock Lesnar in the stairwell with Zach Gowen. Gowen is gagged and tied to a wheelchair because his leg was broken or something. The weird part is that the last FIFTEEN minutes of the show is Lesnar taunting him, throwing him out of the chair, messing with his head, talking to McMahon about god knows what, and it all finishes with Lesnar tossing Gowen down the stairs in the wheelchair and Lesnar sitting at the steps, laughing like a maniac. That was the finale of the show. No match, no attack, nothing. It was with that episode that I realized how weak Smackdown could be.

Monday, was worse......that's just the usual boring Smackdown crap.

Ok, finally done with my goddamn term papers.
Armageddon was OK, not great. Was interesting to see Evolution hold all the titles. That probably won't last. I don't see Hunter holding the title past the Rumble, and the Tag Titles will probably get moved off of Battista and Flair sooner rather than later as well. Sucks that Bubba got injured in the match (raise your hand if you saw it and said "oh shit").
Best match of the night was Battista/HBK. RVD/Orton was fun, as was the main event. Kane shoulda won though- he was on a roll that night. And besides, he'd been portrayed as the main opponent for Goldberg all along, with Hunter pretty much out of sight for a few weeks. The "Battle of the Sexes" did what it was supposed to- get Jericho to turn face.
As for Raw, more goodness from Jericho, who's probably going to be the #1 or #2 face on Raw next year (hint hint, title run or two...pretty please?!). Loved the Evolution vs. RVD/HBK match, worked very well. Could HBK win the title in two weeks? He's got an outside shot- considering that Kane should get the title shot at the Rumble. You don't want heel vs heel at a PPV. We could also see RVD and HBK win the tag titles from Flair and Battista then. We'll see.
To make it clear what they're doing with Foley- He's coming back as a wrestler. They're going to run a storyline where he'll say he didn't want to be a GM and a wrestler at the same time, and that he was also not in shape (yet) to beat the crap out of Orton. From what I've heard, the Rock and Sock Connection will take on all four members of Evolution at WM XX. That'll be cool.
Oh, and as for the Royal Rumble possible winners, I'll throw a few into the mix:
Benoit
Angle
Goldberg
Eddie

RVD/Shawn Michaels would make a kick ass tag team in my estimation, and I would love to see the Rock and Sock Connection kick Evolution's ass at Mania.
