Tay, mabbe you ain't using the right techniques...

Click once to get em elves running... Then click and hold down to pull the catapult down, and hold it down as long as you dare -- let go, and Santa flies.

Trick is, you want to hold it down as long as possible, and start holding it down as late as possible -- ie., make your release coincide with the elves coming to the edge of the cliff. If you wait too long, the elves will tumble over the cliff, or you will pull the catapult back so far it digs too far into the ground (it can go quite a bit into the ground, but only so far).

If you time it right, you should start pulling back when you pass a little mountain that has three peaks -- about when the front wheel of the catapult passes the second peaks (or something like that).

You've got it right, when Santa is chucked so far up in the air, that he completely dissapears for about a second or two. On the longest attempts, he didn't hit the ground until 180.
