Urgh! The UK Pop Idols have collaborated to release a terrible terrible cover version of John Lennon & Yoko Ono's Merry Christmas (War Is Over)
Is nothing sacred?

OMFG, John Lennon & Yoko Ono = anti-music = Paul McCartney = Linda.
Lennon & McCartney were gold together, but apart, they couldn't make music worhty of being played over the loudspeakers in a Walmart. And with their chicks -- oh ****, save me.
Yoko Ono alone, I actually like some of her stuff. She's nuts. But the crap Lennon and her did together, damn, that is some overrated, saccarine crap.

Umm, I'm going to have to disagree with you there Cogs. I think Lennon and McCartney both had stellar solo careers. With Wings, Paul definitely proved to the world he still had what it takes to make great music, John Lennon even more so. Here's just a short list of some of my favorite Lennon solo stuff:
Imagine
Instant Karma
Jealous Guy
Mind Games
Woman
Starting Over
Nobody Told Me
Watching the Wheels
Beautiful Boy
The list goes on.

One of my favorite songs ever is a solo Lennon song. "Oh Yoko."

I heard Oh Yoko the first time in Rushmore, God Wes Anderson is only second to Scorsese and Tarintino on the list of people who choose kickass songs.

Jeezus, what Xmas classic will be taken on next (http://www.angelfire.com/moon/moonray210/bucky.gif)?
Which artists redid the Lennon/Oko song, anyway?
