... broke into my car last night.

My car is a piece of shit. There is absolutely NOTHING in it of value, especially the stereo which probably cost 50 bucks new, and is now broken and doesn't work.

But some idiot busted out the passenger side window and broke into it anyway and then ripped up my dash, unsuccessfully trying to get my dime store, worthless radio out of it. Oh he got the face plate to my worthless radio, but he didn't get the radio.

Idiots.

Apparently they hit ten other cars in my complex too.

Merry freakin Christmas to me. This is gonna kill me.

Thanks man. I'm rather bummed right now.

This is gonna cost me at least 500 bucks since that is my deductible. And it isn't like I can drive around without a window.

At some point I'll have to get up the energy to go out and clean up the glass

meh.

Oh, my car has been broken into numerous times. I have giving up buying new equipment and now sing songs pretending I have a radio, cracking my voice when I enter tunnels.

:lol Sido, you've been missed this week.

That's a severe crapper Hobbit. Happened to my buddy's girlfriend's car a couple of weeks ago too.

Looks like stolen car stereos are the Xmas gift of choice for the low-rent scum of the earth this year.

Hobbes double check your insurance. Often this kind of stuff is covered with a much lower deductible than standard collision. It's called comprehensive I think.

It would probably cost you less just to pay to have the window replaced yourself if that is the only major damage.

Very sorry to hear Hobb :(

Some years ago, hoodlooms ripped a brand new battery out of my old truck, but what really stung is when I went back to the store where I had just bought the battery a week earlier: they charged me extra, because I didn't have an old battery to turn in...

Turning in an old battery for recycling is calculated into the price of a new battery -- I told them look, I bought a battery here just last weee, I'm not gonna go pollute anywhere with it, someone stole the damn thing! No go, I had to pay like $25 extra. That was what pissed me off the most...
