Splinter Cell

I finally got this (for Christmas) Dude.. I'm addicted!! This game is great. I just got past the CIA board. Anybody else play it?

Nah, I'm busy ripping up Vice City on Grand Theft Auto and bustin some moves on Tony Hawk Underground.

Want to pick up Splinter Cell tho. Waiting for Hitman 2 to arrive as we speak.

I just finishe Halo for PC.

I like the games but the jumping movement is way too sloppy.

I'm now getting my ass beat pretty badly on multiplayer.

Splinter Cell is a really cool game -- I've played it a bit, and am pretty sure I made it past the CIA thing. That's when you have to knock some people out and drag their bodies around -- also, you have to intentionally make a noice to draw a guy out of a room, right?

One of the first missions, what I liked the most, is that I discovered that although I had the option of carrying out the mission in a really elegant "batman-like" (kills nobody, just knock them out) way, I also had the option of being a psycho animal and just executing them -- even shooting a guy that was unconscious on the ground... Not because I'm that big a fan of violence, but because it's awesome that a game gives you that much leeway.

One thing that's funny about it thought: the guards say the same things, all over the world -- but they have strong accents. You're in Russia, or China, they have really strong ethnic accents, but they all say the same things, with those crazy accents: "Olley olley oxen..." and stuff like that. I'm wondering if they all went to the same schools

Oh yeah, and Vice City has the best game soundtrack ever... in a Miami Vice kinda way...
