...that being sick over the holidays truely, truely sucks. It sucks rocks. I've been down since Friday and am only now getting better. So of course, now I have to take care of my much better half who has contracted the same thing.

Being sick during the holidays does suck, happened to me last year so I know where you're coming from. If you're resting up (at home) then I suggest Niquil, that stuff is just lovely - knocks ya out fast! lol also, cold and clear food items (etc: 7up and vanilla ice cream) and lots of soup. get well :)

I hate being sick over the holidays too. I had that flu that's been going around over Thanksgiving. Wasn't able to enjoy turkey dinner on Thanksgiving; I had chicken noodle soup. Granted it was homemade by my husband, and it was very good, but it wasn't turkey dinner. I had to have reheated leftovers from my parents on Saturday.

However, it doesn't do so well with my wife. Makes her all loopy, sluggish, and generally unpleasant. So while I use it to get me through the worst, she avoids it.

And thank God I have a wonderful wife to nurse me when I'm sick. How I survived before I'll never know.
