Sam Goody. They have X2 for $29.99 regular price. Their sale price puts it at around $24.99, I believe. That's a lot more than you can find it for at BestBuy or Circuit City.
any of those mall type stores are overpriced.. or trying to buy new movies at Blockbuster. lol they have Gigli for 24.99

Sounds logical about Sam Goody and Suncoast. They are owned by the same company.
I buy most of my DVDs at Wal-Mart or have a friend order them for me.

I tend to use half.com...or other used places.

I buy used movies at blockbuster. Saves a ton.
New stuff I buy at costco.
Or online.

Virgin Megastore in Union Square is almost always a few dollars more than Circuit City in Union Square, and they're right next to each other in the same building.
Buying new from Blockbuster is ridiculous. Alias season 2 was $60 there, and I got it for $45 at Target.
When I lived in Hornell, NY the only nearby place to buy movies was Wal-Mart and I don't believe they're competive with pricing DVD's. They didn't break my wallet though, so that's good.
I'd rank the places I've been (most expensive to least):
Blockbuster
Virgin Megastore
Wal-Mart
Circuit City & Best Buy (usually fairly close in price)
Target

definitely sam goody or suncoast. or anyplace that sells dvds in Nome, AK, which i think is limited to a Safeway owned grocery store.
i buy all my dvds online, unless i'm someplace with a walmart or sam's club nearby.

suncoast
and then blockbuster
Around here, Suncoast and Same Goody have the most outrageous prices usually. Blockbuster as well. I buy all my DVD's from Best Buy, and sometimes Wal-Mart when they have the $5.88 DVD sales.
