Multiple Emmy winner Michael J. Fox will return to the network that helped make him a star in February when he guest-stars on "Scrubs."
Fox, who became a household name while starring in "Family Ties" in the 1980s, will appear on two episodes of NBC's hospital comedy as a surgeon with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The character has found a way to use his illness to good advantage in his work

"I feel like the luckiest guy in the world," says "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence, who also worked with Fox on "Spin City." "To get to work with Michael once is any comedy writer's dream, but to have that opportunity twice is truly an honor. His presence gives great credibility to the show.

"I haven't seen the cast this giddy since we got the news the show had been picked up."
"Scrubs" has become an unofficial alumni club for former "Spin City" cast members. Fox will become the fifth actor from the late ABC sitcom, which Lawrence created, to make an appearance on "Scrubs," following Heather Locklear, Richard Kind, Alan Ruck and Barry Bostwick.

Fox won four Emmys for his work on "Family Ties" and "Spin City" and was nominated four other times. He left "Spin City" in 2000 after disclosing he suffered from Parkinson's disease. He has since written a best-selling autobiography and done voice work on several films while raising money and lobbying for more research on Parkinson's disease.

He also co-wrote a pilot for ABC last development season called "Hench at Home." The network didn't pick it up for the 2003-04 season.

I didn't think it was possible that Scrubs could get better. I was wrong. This should be amazing. Can't wait, great news.

So people with OCD are shaky? :eek
Actually I was wondering what that comment about using his illness meant, too.
I like Scrubs, those should be good shows.
