Yup, all of them. Warners is unleashing them April 6th. All films will have a brand new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and DD mono tracks. Not much extras except for trailers.

in a box, or seperately?

They didn't really mention a boxset. I'm guessing seperately.

With luck they do both........seperately for those who loather some of the sequels, and a box for the avid (child of the 80's) series collector :D ;)

Man, they really went downhill after part 2 even though I still kinda enjoyed 3.
I might pick up the first two.

Part one for me. The rest are strictly bored on a sunday and they're on TV type affairs.

Not that I would buy the set (or any of the movies, for that matter), but how could anyone buy movies that even Steve Guttenberg turned down?

It's like a goldmine of comedy for stop-gapping when Brody hasn't made one of his jaw-dropping statements.

I think all of the Police Academy films will remain films that I just catch on TV when they happen to be on, not worth buying. Except the first film, I'd buy that.

The first one is actually available on DVD. It was one of Warner's first DVD releases in 1996 or 1997.
In "fool screen" though :blat

Typical for classic WB comedies....it's a shame.

From IGN:

Warner Home Video will unleash Police Academy in a 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD this April 13 at a suggested price of $19.97, and with it will come a box set containing all of the film's equally silly sequels.

The six sequels -- Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment, Police Academy 3: Back in Training, Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach, Police Academy 6: City Under Siege and Police Academy: Mission to Moscow will be available in a seven-disc set for $59.92.

The original film featured Steve Guttenberg. Kim Cattrall, G.W. Bailey, Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow and George Gaynes as a bunch of incompetents and boobs who enter the police academy when standards are dropped to the floor. In the case of Guttenberg's character, it was the police academy or go to jail. Hilarity ensued.

The 20th anniversary edition will include:

All-new digital transfer.

Commentary by Steve Guttenberg, Michael Winslow, Leslie Easterbrook, G.W. Bailey, director Hugh Wilson and producer Paul Maslansky.

Behind Academy Doors: Secret Files Revealed - all-new reunion documentary.

Theatrical trailer.

All of the sequels will all come with an all-new making-of featurette for each film. All six sequels will sell for $14.97.

The cover art hasn't been released, but the word on the Warner Home Video site is the discs will come in snapper cases. Guess Warner hasn't learned yet.

I almost wish I liked the series now.
