They should have just combined the one with Neo and the one with Morpheus and Trinity. They already did that with Neo and Trinity, I'm sure they could have fit Morpheus in there somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if this art is ditched soon.

could the difference between widescreen & fullscreen be any more "fine print"

Look at the top of the art.....it's just a slight difference in the text. it's not like a blatently different collr backround on the top border like most flick who have ws/fs versions.

I guess they figure that cover has enough corners to it, a border would just add to the mess. At least the color is completely different.

I'm sure they'll change it. Warner Bros. went through at least threee different covers before they finally landed on the final version. Then again, the final version was the worst of them all. So hopefully, this case will have the opposite effect.

Plus, how many covers did they have for T3. Whatever happens happens....cover arts never displayed on my shelf anyways. :D

WB home video stated that there will be no box set of the three......just all of them "packaged together".....which means ceran wrapped ala the Austin Powers movies

I'm still going to wait. Granted, my copy of The Matrix is just fine, but I'd rather have options then going out and just buying the sequels.

I'll probably just buy the first release of Revolutions, and call the three theatricals I own a trilogy.

Translation: I have The Matrix on DVD, and it's a perfectly good copy, so I'm not eager to replace it, I.E. buy a set with a boxed set of all the movies with a new super-duper version of the original. I would just go ahead and buy the sequels, but I'd rather wait to see if there's a good box-set to go ahead with.

That basically sums up my thoughts on the little situation we have going as well.

But you didn't like either of them. I think that's the part that didn't make sense.

They have good special-effects. As I always say, if the price is right...

What they should do is release the film with four different covers.

What nobody seems to be mentioning is that this is actually a pretty nice package feature wise. Reloaded had two features that you could watch more then once. This actually seems to have some good stuff. :)

I agree. That would be really cool. But it's Warner Bros., we all know how that goes.
