the only things I do play are Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. I do *watch* my friend play GTA III, does that count? He goofs around too much on it for me, though.

Same reason people buy new versions of DVDs. Plus, they're at my other house where my PS2 is. I want to play them here, as well, because they're beloved games of mine, and I have an Xbox here. It makes sense to me.

How can you call yourself a fan of videogames and hate Mario Kart?

Kart with a "k."

Cath me in the chatroom when I'm in a good mood and I can help you with that... But I have to be in a good mood, because I hate CS.

For XBOX
Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City
Midway Arcade Treasures (it has 24 arcade classic games on it)

For PC
Dungeon Siege Legends of Aranna
Everquest (my friends and I all play on Thursday nights together)

Games I'm thinking about getting for the XBOX include Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Legacy of Kain, and Armed and Dangerous.

Anybody have any recommendations.

It's a pretty good game, however I wish there was an actual single player. Sometimes it can be very hard to find a good server and playing against the computer is pretty boring.

I'm replaying Prince of Persia on GameCube. Very fun and addicting game. One of the few games that I have actually beat, and then had the desire to play again, and that's VERY rare for me.

hehe zoo tycoon.

When that was being tested it was also coming out at the same time with the MS casino game.

We thought they should save some money and release them together.

then you could put the wrong animals in cages with each other and bet on who would survive.

for the record, it takes over 400 flamingos to kill a hippo. but you have to get the hippo really riled up.

I play EQ of course and vent my frustration on Halo PC lately.

I don't play consol games cause I suck at those damn controllers.

I just finished Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner, and Ico over the last two weeks. I've been playing Final Fantasy X-2 off and on since November.

Prince of Persia is a terrific game. It has just the right mix of puzzle solving (but not frustrating puzzles) and fighting. It's also gorgeous, has a great story, top notch voice acting and is just damn fun. The only downside is that it is pretty short. Most people could probably finish it with 8 hours played on the clock their first time through. I had to start over at the 70% mark because I somehow bugged Farah and couldn't continue, and on my semi-second time through I finished the game in just under three hours. Ubisoft has a deal going on all January that is being honored at most major retailers where if you buy Prince of Persia you can get a copy of Splinter Cell for free.

On my shelf waiting to be played I have Sly Cooper, Splinter Cell, Devil May Cry, and .hack//INFECTION.

Oh, and as to Mario Kart...who the hell hates Mario Kart!? It is the best kart racer out there, and always has been. Hell, it defined the genre. There is nothing like a game of Mario Kart with a group of friends. I don't have a Gamecube, but I have played Double Dash and it is incredibly fun.

Purchased a few used games the other day, so I'm kind of switching back and forth between them all.

Partway through Nightfire, almost beat Spiderman on GameCube, getting ready to start Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Ressurection soon, and have Die Hard : Vendetta sitting on the shelf waiting to be started.

Picked up 007: Everything or Nothing yesterday. I LOVE it. Best bond game EVER MADE (with the exception of the outdated Goldeney for N64).

I'm already about 6 or 7 missions into it. But, I have to go to work soon, so I have to stop playing for now.(

NCAA 2003. 20th season, just left Vanderbilt (my second team) after winning 2 championships in 3 years. Now I'm coaching Colorado and in the National Championship against Vanderbilt.

Killing time until Doom 3 comes out.

I'm at the 48% mark in Prince of Persia on XBox. Plus I do some cruising around in GTA: Vice City now and then when I need a break.

Even though I've beaten it, I still play a little Double Dash on my GameCube nightly as well.
