" ... sounds like something a rabbit would listen too" - A Very Brady Sequel Quote :D
So, anybody into hip hop, rap, r&b?
I like old school but also enjoy some of the new stuff like Lumidee (Never Leave You), Ludacris (Stand Up) and Jay-Z's latest.
Got a few 2 Pac CDs (who doesn't?) and Lil' Kim's first album "Hardcore" has been on repeat play the last few days.

PUBLIC ENEMY RULES ALL! Really, they do. Chuck D is the best wordsmith to ever walk the planet.
I'm also a fan of Wu Tang. I dig Ice-T (Original Ganster, yo!). Got some love for Naughty By Nature (I think Trech is way underated). Hate to say it, but 3rd Bass ain't bad. Love the Beatie Boys. Own all of Eminem's studio albums. Everlast kicks some pretty serious ass. Kid Rock can be fairly brilliant when he's not trying to be Bad Company.

Every once in awhile I'll hear a song and like it but I have a zero tolerance policy about albums that have tons of profanity and misogyny on them. Having two daughters of a delicate age means keeping that stuff out of their hearing range.
Couple of people I've seen/heard that I've really liked but never bought:
Outkast
Missy Elliot
Eminem
Ludacris
Wu-Tang Clan
This new girl Kelis or Kellis.
Maybe I'll be an old woman who is discovering these albums in my fifties after my girls are old enough to have moved on or hear what these people are saying. Lord knows my father who is 53 is still discovering all kinds of great music...I'm sure I'll be the same way.

I like a lot of it, mostly mainstream stuff. The more underground it gets, the less memorable it is. People in my age range usually prefer the underground stuff because they consider it "cooler." I'm talking about the type of people who use the phrase sell out when an artist accepts a $20 million deal with a record label.
But anyway, I'm big on:
Outkast
Eminem
50 cent
DMX
Jay Z
Notorious B.I.G. (before Puffy fucked it up)
Ludacris
I'm really selective and picky about Rap usually. I rarely ever listen to it, but I usually just stick to some Tupac or something, not the new shit. There's a few songs that come out ever once in a while that I kind of like , like Ludacris - Stand Up..but yeah, I'm in no way a big fan of the Rap genre.
