wow, they put A LOT of thought into that artwork
lame
I'd like to see a world where there are certain standards a movie must meet before it can get an SE.
For example...
REQUIREMENT ONE: Someone must care about the movie.

I like Panic Room alot, but I already own it and its definitely not worth buying twice.
Stop all this Panic Room hate! I really liked it a lot, I love Fincher's work. I don't already own it, so I'd buy it.

This isn't Panic Room hate, it's apathy towards passable movies getting Special Editions when proper classics worthy of the SE treatment get passed over.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Panic Room. I like it.
But it's hardly a classic.

naw, I liked the movie alright...just not that artwork
I don't suppose they'll expect to sell a whole lot of discs if they can't even afford to spend a thousand bucks on a design company.
I agree with Hobbit there isn't any reason to care for this movie though. It's really just Home Alone badly disguised as if it were a thriller.
I don't care about movies I just "like".
If someone said they were going to remake Panic Room, I wouldn't bat an eye.
That means I don't care. I like it, but you can do whatever you want to it, and it makes no difference in the world to me.
It is a nice movie, enjoyable, but not worth losing sleep over and certainly not worth making an SE over. There are a lot of nice, good movies out there.
And ten points to Tick for having actually read my Panic Room review. :lol
I agree that there are a lot of other films out there that a special edition would do more justice for them, that is true.
