Back before they invented the listening station you had to just take your chances and hope the CD you were buying didn't turn out to be a waste of hard earned cash.
I can't tell you how many times I bought a CD because I heard one good song and thought the rest of the record would be good too. Either that or I got caught up in a trend and now I have CDs that I NEVER listen to.
Titles that I should dump that are currently taking up space on my CD rack:
Smashmouth--Fush Yu Mang....total crap. I bought it for "Walkin' on the Sun" which I LOVE...but the rest of it sucks bag.
Sister Hazel...Somewhere More Familiar and Foretress. I bought them because I'd heard two different songs by these guys that were good...well those were the only two apparently because both these albums stink.
Elvis Costello---Extreme Honey The Very Best of the Warner Bros. Years. I love Elvis...but I hate this album. Never listen to it. I should go trade it in at Sound Go Round.
Paul Simon---You're the One. Now I LOVE Paul Simon. I think he's a genius. This album though....yech! Just doesn't do it for me.
