Not too bad, its about these mutants or deformed people (they look like trolls or ogres if you ask me) who want to get revenge from being blown up and becoming the way they are.. Nothing too special or surprising about the ending. Give it about a 2.5 outa 5
PS Im still questioning about that hooded lady (she looks like Little Red Riding Hood running away lol). Other than being different than the others, you'll have to see how, I was wondering what the partake catch of this 'character' is/or being in the movie?
The only bad thing I don't mention in my review is a lack of a memorable mutant image like the original had. Otherwise it's not a bad flick and great if you're into the bloodbaths.
I was really excited to see it because I loved High Tension. But, eh, this one was alright. I guess I'm kind of sick of horror movies getting remakes over and over and over.
Watching The Hills Have Eyes I felt like I had ESP, I think they succesfully crammed every horror movie cliche' into an hour and a half. I guess I will give them props for that, I don't think that's been done before so well. Aja deserves "Hack of the Year."
What surprised me was how faithful to the original it was. Remakes usually seem to want to tweak things here and there and usually change the ending. For the most part, it seemed very close.
After the fiery scene with Buffalo Bill, they should have rubbed some lotion on his skin.
