Review:
As a second film, The Hills Have Eyes carries on the visual promise Aja showed in his first film. This is a director that isn’t afraid to push boundaries and make the most of his hard “R” ratings. - *** Rafe Telsch, CinemaBlend.com

Wes Craven needs to find a quiet cabin somewhere in New England and disappear.

The Hills Have Eyes

Not too bad, its about these mutants or deformed people (they look like trolls or ogres if you ask me) who want to get revenge from being blown up and becoming the way they are.. Nothing too special or surprising about the ending. Give it about a 2.5 outa 5

PS Im still questioning about that hooded lady (she looks like Little Red Riding Hood running away lol). Other than being different than the others, you'll have to see how, I was wondering what the partake catch of this 'character' is/or being in the movie?

I reviewed it... and didn't hate it as much as Haute Tension.

The only bad thing I don't mention in my review is a lack of a memorable mutant image like the original had. Otherwise it's not a bad flick and great if you're into the bloodbaths.

I did see it, and I enjoyed it very much. Alexandre Aja has earned my trust as a horror director.

I'll take a look at your review soon Rafe, that's cool that you didn't hate it like High Tension.

I can't believe that buffalo bill (silence of the lambs), couldn't take out the whole lot of these freaks. "you better not hurt my dog".

This move was very gory and not too bad for the horror genre.

If all goes well "Mr. Wirberley" may be off to Morocco for some dirt on the sequel shooting this fall. Wish him luck....whoever he is.

I was really excited to see it because I loved High Tension. But, eh, this one was alright. I guess I'm kind of sick of horror movies getting remakes over and over and over.

But Tomandandy doing the music was a plus.

The Hills Have Eyes is one of the worst movies I've ever put myself through.

He also hates Kevin Smith movies. I wouldn't trust him.

Kevin Smith.... Grrrrr.....

Watching The Hills Have Eyes I felt like I had ESP, I think they succesfully crammed every horror movie cliche' into an hour and a half. I guess I will give them props for that, I don't think that's been done before so well. Aja deserves "Hack of the Year."

What surprised me was how faithful to the original it was. Remakes usually seem to want to tweak things here and there and usually change the ending. For the most part, it seemed very close.

After the fiery scene with Buffalo Bill, they should have rubbed some lotion on his skin.

One of my fav horror flick released this year. Aja did a marvelous job improving on craven's version. One very smart & stylish horror flick.

See, I didn't get what was "smart" about this flick... It had a bit of style for its $16 mil budget, but I thought it was pretty retarded.
