Footage was strange, but that shot at the end with him flying backwards, and crashing into the car was cool. And a smidgit of Phillip Seymore Hoffman! Yes!
Caught the trailer in theatres, It's gotta be online by now somewheres, I didn't know what it was at first...then boom....Tommy...Evil Hoffman is the only thing that makes it look halfway decent.
i dunno...the Mission Impossible music is ringing in my ears and i think...wow. Obviously MI:2 was a shambles but with a new director, i think it'll be good!
Yeah I'm a sucker for that Mission Impossible theme, lol As soon as it started playing I got excited. Also JJ Abrams is completely awesome. I'm really surprised that they didn't mention him at all in the trailer.
I'll go see it cuz I just love mindless action summer movies, but truth be told I'm sick of Tom cruise. Hated Wow and his summer in your face Katie Holmes thing. But Lawrence Fishbourne is in it from the Matrix that should be good
I would really love that image if it showed the car rapidly approaching an on coming semi that's about to whack the door and take Ethan's torso along with it.

Don't know if this has been posted, but Paramount is having an advanced "Tom Cruise Fan Screening" of Mission: Impossible 3 and it is open to the public.
It is this Thursday, May 4th at the Grauman's Chinese Theater at 4:30PM.
I called in on a local LA radio station and won tickets + a video iPod (not bad!)
They said Tom will be there to meet the fans and they are going to have prize drawings where you can win tickets to see the movie that night + other prizes.
Anyway, I can't wait and I thought I would just pass the info along to those in SoCal or anyone who would happen to be in LA this week.
If it's open to the public how come you had to win tickets?
The iPod sounds cool though.
Be sure to take a squirt gun and give Tom a good spraying. He seems to really enjoy that sort of stuff.
If Tom's going to be there, who cares. If KATIE is going to be there, that's something else altogether. I'd like to ask her a few questions about being married to Tom Cruise and see if she gives anything other than the preprogrammed responses.

God knows i'm against flashy hollywood action movies where i enjoy the popcorn more than the flashing lights on the screen... but, perhaps it's something about the summer movie season that has such promise of fun and excitement. I think back to the days of my youth of seeing jurassic park and independence day on a warm summer's afternoon.
i suppose i would like to recapture that, but we all know MI3 isn't going to do it. see you at the theater.
