I have to say they aren't brilliant but the previous Scary movie films have made me laugh so I will see this just for a good old laugh.

Lots of love for 3.5

Looking forward to 4. Glad to see Regina Hall back as well. She always cracks me up.

Just watched 3 the other day, and it was good for a few laughs. We also watched the alternate ending, which was soo soo horrible, I think it would have been the end of the franchise had they used that.

Only saw 1 and 2 so far. With "My Wife and Kids" on television every week day, I don't know if I can take any more Wayans humour.

I think that it's just getting old. The 3rd movie I didn't find funny at all. I will not be devastated if I miss this.

The third was packed full of jokes that sank. However, you can't go wrong with Dr. Phil and Shaq spoofing Saw.

You won't have to worry about them. They aren't involved in the third or this one. Though, arguably that just made things worse.

True, glad they went with another ending. The opening however is pure genius: Pam Anderson & Jenny McCarthy! Can't hardly wait to see what they come up with in 4. So glad The Zuckers are doing this, more fun slapstick is to expected I'm sure

Scary Movie series is harmless fun. Wonder if they're going to do any parodying of Episode III?

These movies are the equivalent of a cinematic money pit. They keep getting worse and worse yet instead of walking away we keep throwing more and more money at them. That's the funniest thing about them.

Saw it at the premiere last night it was good but not as funny as previous. First the pluses, I liked the combination of War of the worlds (Tripods scene) with Saw, plus the reminicense of Million Dollar Baby. The ending was great as well. For the rest of it I would say the Grudge and Village spoofs were okay. Most characters role were good, Shaq's and Michael Jackson role was small. The movie was short 1hr and 30 minutes and shouldve have been extended to 2 hours. 2.5 / 5

Just got back. It was pretty decent, I'll go so far as to say it is probably the best of the series, although I think they went overboard with the cameos I felt. Lil John just annoys the hell out of me. The biggest shock to me was seeing Mr. Voiceover at the end (I won't spoil it just yet for those who haven't seen it). On one hand, I thought it was pretty cool seeing him on the big screen again after all these years, but on the other hand, it's a Scary Movie film.

Anna Faris is definitely too good for this franchise. She needs more legit work. This was definitely her best Scary Movie performance. I also liked the guy who played the Tom Cruise role. Has he been in anything before? And did Leslie Neilsen have a stroke recently, because his speech sounded slurred a bit.

He gets on stage, make his statement and gets off.

I swear he never checks any of these threads after he posts in them once.

Leslie Neilson has always sounded a little like a stroke victim. I thought he was pretty good in this one though... I didn't think he was funny at all in the last one.

As for the guy who played Tom Cruise, read my review for the answer to that question!

I'm not too interested in this one, but I am most curious what they would do with "The Village" parodies. Lord knows that movie was terrible enough to have a fun time ripping to shreds.

To anyone who saw it, what "Village" spoofs did they do?
