Did anyone else notice this list of promo films @ IMDB at the top of its home page?

I don't think I've overstating the case to say that there's a lot more riding on the success of V besides its box office; like breaking the superhero/sequel/retread blockbuster out of the rut its in and moving on to a higher level of imagination and challenge. If it doesn't deliver on that score, I predict a dissapointing to respectable $30-50 million , but if it does, $100 million.
Please note---The predeeding is all based on what it would have gotten with a PG-13 rating. Given it's R, you can cut those numbers in half; but it's longevity will be good and its dvd sales could be spectacular.
After having seen the screening for She's The Man and talked to some people I'm changing my answers:
There's also a twinge in me that's beginning to think Vendetta will lose out first place to She's The Man. The teenagers at the advance screening were absolutely sold on it and you can't top teen word of mouth when it comes to movie marketing.
How much do you think V for Vendetta will make opening weekend (showing in 3300+ screens)?
$24 million
How much do you think She's the Man will make opening weekend (showing in 2500+ screens)?
$20 million
What movie (including movies already released) will be number 1 for the week?V for Vendetta
Still undecided whether She's The Man will beat out Failure to Launch.

Hummm, teen chick-flick (PG-13), vs. older-teen-on-up guy (haw!) flick (R). I'm not worried (much), but if V does get clobbered (i.e. close at all) they won't make another think piece for 100 years with a budget over $5 mil. (Don't tell your 20-something nephew I called it a think piece. In fact, forget I even used the phrase.)
Hey now, if Deus gets to change his then I'm changing mine.
I made my original guess before seeing V, now I've seen it and I believe the film is probably too smart for most people.
Normally that wouldn't matter, but I think the reviews about how much of a "thinking" movie it is, even though they are all resoundingly positive are going to put people off. Especially with the trailers pushing it as some sort of action movie...
I think people will either figure out that it's too smart for them and avoid it, or people will see it, hate it because it isn't the dumb action movie the marketing sold it as and advise all their friends not to see it.
Either way, I'm lowering my guess.
How much do you think V for Vendetta will make opening weekend (showing in 3300+ screens)?
$27 million
How much do you think She's the Man will make opening weekend (showing in 2500+ screens)?
$16 million

Or maybe (how many?) people are ready to step up to a level above the plateau the action movie has stagnated at. Too many variables. Cover my eyes until Sunday night (except for when I'm thoroughly ensconced in my seat watching it.)
