Monster House was alot of fun made me very nostalgic for the 80's.
Loved the little touches like the 2D videogame, it put a big grin on my face.

My kids are the right age and loved this - though I must agree with Merry that it wouldn't be suitable for smaller children.
I laughed quite a lot, but must agree with the view that the motion-capture/CGI animation of the people didn't work too well. Animals and monsters look good in CGI, but humans still seem to work better in 2D animation. I agree a blend of live action and animation might have been good for this.
I'm puzzled as to why this movie wasn't released at Hallowe'en, rather than in summer!
