Saw it last night. Far from greatness, but I still enjoyed it. I wish I could have payed better attention though, this damned kid next to me was totally 'spergin the entire time. Everytime something funny happened he'd turn, look right at me, and guffaw like a retard. Also, he never took his drink out of his cup holder so he was always staring at me when he went down on his straw. Little bastard.
How can you moan about Jackie Chan? He is 53 and doing more than most people would at his age..
Stunmen? SO what?? He has come close to being killed by doing his own stunts so many times and he is pretty old now i think he is entitled to have them...I lose no respect. The man deserves everyones respect so its a shame to see a few of you criticising him.
Ah, so blind, random respect just because he's old even though he sucks.
Sounds logical to me.
No, not really random respect, but respect that he is still capable of doing some stunts at his age when most wouldn't attempt them or retire altogether. It isn't as if he's still pumping out action movies, and the scenes were limited in Rush Hour 3 so I'm not entirely sure how you can come to the conclusion that he sucks. I didn't find any of the film embarrassing, at least not to the level you're describing Josh.. sure, he is far far past his Drunken Master days, but that doesn't mean you lose respect for the guy. He might be not be as youthful and as a consequence as fast as he used to be, but I bet he can still choreograph a decent fight scene purely because of his technical ability.
Anyway.. what I did find embarrassing was that out of all the decent movies I've seen this year, the crowd I was seeing it with actually clapped at the end! So undeserving..
Just came back from seeing it. Truly a terrible movie.
Worst movie I've seen in several months. Theater was packed though! Seemed to be largely made up of pre-teen and young teen types.
Guy next to me similar to Joshua_S's guy! Laughing hyserically every two seconds and yelling out stuff like "oh shit!" "oh shit!" A lot of people as I was leaving were saying things like "that was great!"
I weep for the world.

I lost respect for him because he lied about doing his own stunts.
I dislike watching him because... he can't pull stuff off anymore. You can't seriously tell me you thought those were good action sequences. Yes, some of them were well choreographed, because Chan can still do that. But they would ALL have been 100 times better with some other, younger, more capable star doing them. They were not up to Chan's standards, and if he can't do them properly then why is he doing them? Money. That's why. Same reason he lies about doing his own stunts. Greed. That's why I no longer respect him.
I respect and adore his past work, but Jackie Chan is now officially a joke.
Someone told me that Rush Hour 3 is more likely to it's previous sequel the onlt different is the setting but I beg to disagree because for me Rush Hour 3 is more interesting than the rest sequel...

Some people right? 'Spergin like nobody's watchin.
One of the funniest lines was Chris Tucker's about arresting those Iranians. Sadly, we live in a world where his character is correct - those doctors that did the Glasgow thing and attempted car bombs in London.

This is one of the worst movies in recent memory, where the entire audience seemed to be in complete and total support. I mean, this movie was ****ing retarded and everytime they recycled a joke, I'd look around and everyone was laughing their stupid heads off.
There were so many loose ends, I thought my head was going to explode.
First off, they had absolutely no evidence to pin anything on Max von Sydow. So when the "beloved" cab driver George ****ING KILLS HIM, he should, by all accounts, go to jail for the rest of his life for murdering the head of the World Court.
Oh and what happened to Soo Yung? Sure, Chris and Jackie got away by flying with a giant French flag (retarded), but she was still up there by herself with a bunch of henchmen with uzis.
