hello my name is jillian and im a recent graduate of film school, just out here loving life and film and trying to make the two cross as much as possible!
My name is Sara, but everyone calls me Sera. I'm 20 years old and just started college due to a lack of anything else to do, haha. I live in New Jersey and I absolutely adore it here. I love movies (obviously), intimate club shows, roadtrips, and reading. Looking forward to meeting some cool people
Cinephilia is a condition, and I intend to indulge it; I don't have time to hear about your problems, unless they're tied up with cinema. Peter Bogdanovich used to see 3 or 4 or 5 films a day, and he had these cards he'd write on, extensively detailing each movie's credits and his observations on the text itself. Then he hooked up with Cybill Shepherd, and she had to follow suit and take in flicks with likewise zeal. When she left, Bogdanovich's cinephilia burned as bright as ever, and with all the credulity of someone beholden to the dream factory, he bought all of Orson Welles' tall tales and published them in a book.
If I could have a projector slammed permanently in my chest wall, I would. I'd host impromptu screenings all across the city, for free, and sometimes I'd just stay in with the curtains drawn and watch triple bills.
I'm a ragamuffin, but I'm not a cat, and I'm a little bit dishabille and wear eau de bourbon, but we're meeting virtually so don't worry. These intro formalities irk me, I'd far rather meet you in the fray of heated debate about movies. Let's get to it.
Hey Guys,
I just spent the last month or so writing, voicing and animating a bunch of Family Guy type short cartoons clips along the same spirit as Seth MacFarlane's YouTube based cavalcade of comedy. The clips are extreme and racy... (Just like we want them .
My current setup of two full time animators allows me to animate 1-2 short clips ever week, and i have scripts to keep me going for months.
The first few clips are: a parody on Prof Gates, Obama and the "racist" cop, Eminem gets caught masturbating, Anderson Pooper interviews Tom Cruise, Gandalf the Grey in “Date Rape”, Optimus Prime takes a dump and Kanye West interrupts Serena Williams.
I would like to take the liberty to post in your forum and see how people like it. I believe forums such as yours will be the key to my success (or failure ).
Do let me know what you think; i have a lot more stuff yet to come out I am genuinely open to ideas, contribution and participation.
They have been uploaded on YouTube, amongst other sites... my YouTube channel is; HoldMeFilms
Thanks for your time.
Cheers

I'm from Canada, 20 years old, recently became addicted to movies...and since I'm in university I have a relatively large amount of free time. By that I mean classes are busy, I have two jobs, and I play lots of sports...but I skip class a lot, and spend most of the free time I have watching movies...new and old. Some of my favourite directors are Stanely Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, Guy Ritchie, and Sergio Leone. I have over 1,000 movies rated on Criticker. I'm not sure if that site is popular with the movie-goers here.
Until now, I've only posted on sports message boards, mainly football, and more specifically, the Canadian Football League. If I like this board, I might be here often...if not, I'll probably move on the next movies message board. On that note, how are the IMDb forums. I know from my experience on sports forums that the more popular and general sites seem to get watered down by a lot of people who think their opinions are facts.
More about me? Socialist, pacifist, don't have much interest in horror flicks, wide range of musical interest (including Wolfmother and Beethoven), and studying Business Management in school.
Well I'm not new by any means (well kind of am again I guess) and have gotten some things straightened out that I didn't think ever would be. So I am back and hopefully for a long time.
