Favorite "Minor" Star Wars Character

I mean in relation to the movies.

By minor what do I mean? Hmm.. Well, not one of the main guys/girls of course.

Wedge is a good minor character. Smizzle's favorite Bossk is even another.

I don't know why, but I always liked Nien Numb. He'd be second right after Wedge.

Admiral Ackbar.

Not sure why...he's just cool. Great leader. Great strategist.

You gotta love a character who dies simply because he's too fat to fly.

Go Porkins go!

I've always loved Wedge, I don't know why. When I was a kid I used to jump up and down every time Wedge would come up on screen and stop and point him out to everyone every time the camera flashed to him.

I've always been a fan of Wedge Antilles and Admiral Piett. They're important military figures who manage to last multiple movies, but nothing is told about them in the movies.
Mon Mothma has probably replaced them for reasons I can't say. Since I was about 16 or so, her name has been used for something very important to me. When you say someone's name alot, you start to have some sort of attatchment to them.

Grand Moff Tarkin count, since he was in only one of them? Otherwise Wedge rocks.

The only issue I have with Wedge,as a side note, is during RotJ he suddenly came up with this strange, English-type accent that was non-existant in the first two movies. Was just....weird.

Wedge is cool because he's the only non-Jedi pilot out there who can fly just as well as Luke. Plus, he just seems like the kind of guy you want to take out for a drink after shift.

Point of order... Han Solo can fly circles around Luke.

You know what, Master has a point. Fett technically was a minor character.
I change my vote.

He had only four lines (I think), and still managed to finish second behind Han Solo by less than 1% in the 20 Greatest Characters poll.

Think so? Where was that written or seen? On that note, Lando flew pretty darn well in RotJ. He'd be up there with Han then.

Well, Luke's a lot younger and seemed to be able to keep up with all of em. But.. ol Han definitely knew the tricks.

Yeah, Han had been around awhile and knew how get the Millenium Falcon to do what he wanted it to do, but by the time you got to ESB I'd be willing to bet Luke could beat out Han in a dog fight.
