Discuss/Rate Batman Returns

I love DeVito's penguin, but I've never cared for Catwoman. Still, excellent flick.

I'm really curious to see how this vote comes out.

Which do people generally prefer, this or the first 1989 movie?

Devito is the perfect Penguin, and the story was awesome. Catwoman was sexy, but she's always been more of a good guy that does good the wrong way, i didn't get that feeling during this film.

Great casting all around, and can't go wrong with Burton.

Don't remember the flick or story much (if at all), but I do remember liking it.

It's a tough call between this and the first as to which is better.

I hated it when I was little. I like it more now, but it still doesn't hold a candle to Batman.

Definately not as good as the first one, but still pretty good.

I like the first one, but this one's definately better. The casting is a vast improvement here. The best villain in the film is of course, Max Shreck.

I just watched this for the first time since it came out. I like it a little bit more than the first movie, but it's remarkable how similar they are.

Again Batman isn't given much screentime or persona and the bulk of the film is dominated by the villians. I liked both Devito and Pfeiffer in their roles, although Walken was better than both of them. The Penguin, like the Joker in the first film, wasn't very scary and even when he was plotting to kill people, didn't seem really evil.

Rating 8/10
