Rate/Discuss Adam West's Batman

I don't get the appeal.

Though I like Adam West as a self-parodying figure.

Sometimes camp isn't camp though, it's just bad.

Idunno. I remember the first time I watched the Batman & Robin movie as a kid... thought it was fun. But as an adult... I have a feeling it'd be unwatchable if I went back to it now.

Definite campy fun. Although, I've never watched it much..just happen to catch it sometimes when they air it on tv.

when you compare it to the tone of other comic book movies around that time, it's where it should be. You can't compare it to todays standards, but when you put it next to the old Live Spiderman TV SHow, and even captian america the movie, it's pretty good.

Just because there wasn't anything better at the time, doesn't necessarily justify this as good.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying you have to compare it to the age it was created in. Otherwise it would be like comparing War of the Worlds from a couple decades ago, to the War of the Worlds today, and asking which is more impressive

So bad it's funny. I like Adam West, though.
